How to Build a Custom Layout in 5 Steps
Open Tools > Layout Builder in wp-admin
Navigate to Tools > Layout Builder from your WordPress admin dashboard menu. The builder loads in a full-width visual workspace with the available field toolbox on the left and the interactive canvas on the right.
Choose a Preset Template or Start from Scratch
Browse the Gallery View to select a pre-configured template (modern card, compact tile, badge style) or begin with a blank layout to assemble card components manually.
Drag and Drop Elements into Place
Drag elements directly onto the card canvas. Reorder the author image/avatar, customer name, company, designation, 1–5 star rating icons, testimonial body quote, and date with instantaneous visual feedback.
Test Live Viewport Previews (Desktop, Tablet, Mobile)
Click the device switcher toolbar in the header to simulate how your custom testimonial card will render across desktop displays, tablet screens, and narrow mobile viewports.
Save and Embed with Your Custom Shortcode
Click Save Layout. The builder automatically generates a custom shortcode containing your unique layout ID. Copy and paste it anywhere across your site:
